Established in 1976, the Mid-Peninsula Widows & Widowers Association (MPWWA) was formed to offer support during the transitional period and beyond for those who have lost a spouse. We understand that while the journey may be challenging, we believe in the resilience and strength to move forward. Our focus centers around fostering new friendships and engaging in shared activities when you're ready.

Social Activities

We organize a variety of social activities to build a strong and vibrant community:

• Weekly Brunches: Join us at local establishments for socializing and dining.

• Weekly Get-togethers: Engage in activities such as bowling and walks.

• General Meetings: Come together for socializing, refreshments, and brief business meetings.  We also feature presentations by guest speakers or performances by local talent. 

• Monthly Gatherings: Discuss literature, play games, and celebrate special occasions.

• Annual Events: From formal dinners to casual outdoor gatherings.
